Conversely, I am of the understanding that the Ancient Greeks only believed that homosexuality between a man and an adolescent boy was acceptable. This was so as the boy could be taught the ways of being a man by his mentor. Once a man reached adulthood, it was not frowned upon for him to penetrate another fully grown male, however a fully grown male being penetrated was considered lowly and feminine, for assuming the passive sexual role.
